Global Entertainment Management (founded by international music producer, Jerry Blair, ex-Columbia Records) is in the business to manage pop artists’ careers to create global superstars. During 2009, I worked with GEM to create their corporate website. This led to the development of a design strategy for GEM’s client, Jessica Simpson, who was in the process of re-creating her image in tandem with her new reality TV show, Pure Beauty. Jessica needed a new online presence. The idea was to create a fantasy world in which Jessica Simpson lives and that also promoted her TV show, fashion line and charities. To extend Jessica’s brand, I worked with GEM and film director out of Sydney to create a concept for an iPhone app that promoted Jessica in “real time”. The idea is for Jessica to create her own content using social media and video to create a dialogue with her fans at any time and from anywhere. With GLobal Entertainment Management I also created designs for artists Roy Hamilton III, Thalia and Ebony Bones.
