Karin Loglisci

As a designer, design manager and brand consultant, I create, translate and manage brands across visual communications, from printed materials to online and digital spaces to interior spaces, taking an holistic approach. I have over 10 years experience working with a range of international and local brands within agencies, client side and independently. I’m passionate about creating clever, simple, useful and beautiful designs that form a big idea and pay attention to details. I believe that good, smart design makes a difference in how well we live our lives.

I started at Siegel + Gale in NYC where I worked as a Senior Designer when the Web was just kicking off. I completed my Masters in Design Management at Pratt and packed my bags for London to work for Erik Spiekermann, renowned typographer and designer, at MetaDesign, a top agency out of Berlin where I developed and managed brands and design strategies for UBS, the City of Bristol, Heathrow T5, Icon Medialab, Futurebrand and Orange Mobile.

Later, I joined Fitch Design to lead the global account for Nokia. I ran a team of ten people and liaised with the client and agency teams in the US, Europe and Asia to grow the account from a £250k project to a £1.5 million global program. While in London, I spent time running my own freelance business. I had the opportunity to work with the BBC, British Telecoms; White & Case LLP and The Hoxton Pony. When I became interested in branded environments, I completed a two-year course in Interior Design and worked with Blue Sky Hospitality to create brand concepts for hospitality spaces, such as Marriott, Lufthansa and Radisson SAS.

Since moving back to New York in 2009, I’ve established a consulting and design business. Latest work includes design strategy across print, online and retail for FIG & OLIVE restaurant group; the interior design of an established restaurant in Old Greenwich, CT, a brand book for Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP and a website and iPhone app for Jessica Simpson.

I love to travel and often collaborate with a network of colleagues around the globe. I have a dual citizenship from the European Union.
